Stop New Nuclear gathering, 5/6 November 2011, Bristol

Dear all,

we now set the dates for the first Stop New Nuclear gathering: it will take place from 5-6 November 2011 at The Factory in Bristol. Please mark the dates in your diary - we will soon provide more information and a more detailed agenda for the gathering at http://stopnewnuclear.org.uk/gathering2011.

The aim of the gathering is to discuss the next major actions of the Stop New Nuclear alliance. While we think that the blockade of Hinkley Point on 3 October was a major success, and an important step for the anti nuclear power movement, we will need to become much stronger if we want to stop new nuclear power stations in Britain.

We set up an ideas forum, where you can post your ideas for actions, which can then be discussed at the gathering in Bristol. We would also like to encourage you to discuss any ideas and perspectives with your local group, your affinity groups, and fellow activists, and bring this feedback to the gathering.

The gathering will take place at:

The Factory, 5-8 Cave St, St Pauls, Bristol BS2 (NOTE: change of venue)
A map is available here.

Crash space provided by SWAN activists from Bristol, but please bring a mat and sleeping bag.

Please register for the Stop New Nuclear gathering at http://stopnewnuclear.org.uk/register4gathering.

We are looking forward to seeing you in Bristol soon,
The Stop New Nuclear team
