Transport UPDATED 10am Sun 7th October

Shuttle Service

The camp is up and running. Please come along!

Get to Bridgwater and we can either pick you up from the train station or, if you are driving, follow the signs to Cannington and then the yellow signs directing traffic to Hinkley C construction site.

FOR TRAIN USERS:

Please call the transport line below when you arrive at Bridgwater and we will come and collect you.

FOR CAR USERS:

PLEASE NOTE THAT POLICE ARE CHECKING VEHICLES AND MAY ASK FOR YOUR (A) NAME

As you approach Hinkley, you will be stopped by temporary police traffic lights. At this crossroads, turn right down the small lane and follow signs for Stolford. Half way there, you'll find a small fork in the road, bear right and keep heading for the sea. Park in the car park at the very end of this road (Catsford Common on the map). Call the information line below and a shuttle will come to collect you.

If you are arriving after dark, you will need to park in one of the two laybys that are situated about half a miles before you reach the police traffic lights. Again, the shuttle will collect you from there. Please DO NOT attempt to walk up to the site on foot. The traffic moves very fast along this road and there is no overhead street lighting.

A dedicated transport line will give you further information: 07874819608. THE SIGNAL IS PATCHY AT THE CAMP SO PLEASE LEAVE A MESSAGE ON THE PHONE AND WE'LL GET BACK TO YOU AS SOON AS WE CAN.

Minibuses will be going to London on Monday afternoon and Tuesday afternoon but there is no guarantee of space. Berry's of Bridgwater provide a bus service from Bridgwater to London Victoria and tickets are £16. We can provide transport to Bridgwater.
